Leonard W. Hall served several times as Republican Party chairman, and ran parts of President Dwight D. Eisenhower's election campaigns. William Casey went on to head the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Export-Import Bank and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Gerald Dickler acted as agent, manager and attorney for many well-known artists and broadcasters, including Georgia O'Keeffe, Jackson Pollock, Lowell Thomas Sr., and Mark Rothko. The law firm with which it merged, Lawler Sterling & Kent, was entertainment-law focused. Partner T. Newman Lawler, a former All-America running back for Princeton University, made his name representing clients like Gloria Vanderbilt, Danny Kaye and Irving Berlin. Felix Kent, a well-known advertising attorney, began his law career in the CBS legal department in the early days of television.
